Hey, I’m Courtney!
I’m a photographer, mama of three, homeschool mom, sourdough enthusiast, and the person behind Courtney Leach Photography.
I believe the best photographs aren’t just about how beautiful everyone looks—they’re about remembering how it felt. The little hands wrapped around yours, the belly laughs, the way your kids looked at you when they thought you weren’t paying attention. Those are the moments I want you to have forever.
My approach to photography is relaxed, natural, and connection-focused. I’ll give you enough direction to feel comfortable in front of the camera, but I also leave plenty of room for the real moments to unfold. You don’t need perfectly behaved children or to know how to pose. You just need to show up and love on your people.
After nine years in the classroom, I’ve learned a thing or two about working with kid and as a mom of three, I know firsthand that the magic usually happens in the moments you can’t plan.
Whether we’re chasing little ones around a beautiful outdoor location, documenting your growing family, or celebrating a season of life that you never want to forget, my goal is to create images that feel like you.
Because these days go by way too quickly.

I grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia and relocated to the Upstate of South Carolina in June of 2017 when I married my sweet heart, Tyler Leach. Since our marriage we have grown our family to include our daughter and two sons.

I think one of the hardest parts of being a mom is realizing just how quickly it all goes by.
One minute you’re holding your baby for the first time, and the next they’re running around the yard, losing their little teeth, and growing into a person with a personality all their own. Somehow, the days can feel so long while the years fly by.
That’s the heart behind why I love photography so much.
I want to capture the little things you might not think to remember—the way your toddler reaches for your hand, the belly laughs, the snuggles, the crazy hair, and the way your kids look at you when they don’t even realize you’re watching.
I’m not looking for perfect smiles or perfectly behaved kids. I want to capture your family as you are. The real connection, the genuine laughter, and all of the little moments that make this season yours.
Because one day, these photographs will mean so much more than a pretty picture on the wall. They’ll take you right back to this season of your life.
